“ Finally made it to Rodrigo's Craft Pizza last week! I'm ALWAYS on the hunt for a gluten free calzone and I'm stoked that a LOCAL Jax spot offers them now. They even made us some gf Flatbread to snack on while waiting for our calzone. Absolutely delicious and the staff was phenomenal and so sweet. It's not easy to make gluten free dough good and they've nailed it! ”
“ This place is a true gem. My husband and I stopped in for dinner last night after a long drive. The owner was there and welcomed us like family. We ordered a GF white pizza and a regular mystic mushroom pizza. This was by far the BEST GF pizza I have ever had. My husband couldn’t tell the difference between the crusts. The owner makes the dough with thought and attention to detail. We also had the Caesar salad, which was excellent as they make the dressing in house daily. We will be back!! ”
“ This restaurant is my daughter’s favorite, and I’d always been curious to try it. We finally went for her birthday dinner—and wow! Now I understand why she loves it so much. Their Italian pizzas are incredibly fresh and full of flavor. They ferment the dough for 72 hours, which clearly sets them apart from your typical pizza. I usually don’t enjoy eating the crust, but theirs was surprisingly delicious—it’s not often I find myself raving about the edge of a pizza! I ordered the Mystic Mushroom pizza, and the truffle oil was a perfect match. My husband had the Sizzle Drizzle, which was also very tasty, especially with the chili-infused olive oil on the side. It actually reminded me of how I used to enjoy Italian pizza with olive oil back in Japan. My daughter went with the Margherita topped with plenty of arugula—it was spot on. Honestly, the crust alone makes me want to come back, and I definitely will! ”
“ Just WOW. The ingredients are good quality and super fresh, the crust is absolutely delish. Tried both the NG flatbread and the sweet love panuozzo, and it genuinely has to be the best pizza in Jax. Gluten-free bread and crusts are usually very dense, gritty, and crumbly... Absolutely not the case here. I could not even tell the difference between the non-gluten and normal crust!! The non-gluten version even has that signature bounce back as you chew like any regular bread!! Never had that before! And the owner, Alex, is an absolute GEM. He was super charismatic and friendly, chatted with us for a bit and took the time to explain some of the menu items to me as it was my first visit, and I was stumped as to what to try first! Absolutely sold me on the Sweet Love Panuozzo and let me tell you O M G... It’s a must-try. So incredibly astounded by Rodrigo’s, I can’t stop raving to my fiance and our friends about it! Can’t wait to come back soon and show it to the gang. Thank you so much for the amazing lunch! Much love! ”
“ Probably the BEST gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. I got the blanco without the pesto, sub truffle oil. It’s crispy and chewy just like a gluten pizza. All the flavors were amazing. And their Caesar salad was soooo good too. You can tell everything is made fresh! ”
“ Great little spot! Best pizza I’ve had in Jax, the dough was incredible and the toppings are really high quality. They have some interesting combos that work really well (including the pizza we got with pistachios on top). We also got the arancini and they were delicious. Definitely worth stopping by for a bite! ”
“ For better or worse someone else's experience may vary.....my wife and I were actually waiting for our seats at a nearby restaurant and decided to eat at Rodrigo's instead after walking by. Our first time here and the initial impression was that the restaurant was clean and seemed to feature authentic pizza. The staff was friendly, including Rodrigo, and helpful with recommendations. We did have to ask a staff member to change gloves after sweeping as he went back to prepping food but he did so without a problem which was cool. The food came out relatively quickly and was piping hot. Every ingredient you can tell is fresh. They told us the water they use for the dough is triple filtered and it's the same for the drinking water. The wings and garlic sauce were some of the best I've ever had. The pizza is what I would expect from a restaurant in Italy. We paid about 60 for 2 pizzas and wings. Pizzas are similar in size to what you get at Blaze or Your Pie for comparison. Look forward to returning and would recommend. ”
